Christmas on the runway

Christmas party at work the other day. First time I've shot with my nice little Nikon 35mm on my D300. Found I kept a more comfortable distance from subjects...enabled them to act more naturally or unnaturally, while still allowing me to get very close when I NEEDED to. Very, very pleased with the look of the shots, color, sharpness, lack-o-depthoffield when I shoot at 1.8.
